INCLEMENT WEATHER & MAKEUP POLICY
If you are away/unavailable/unwell for your lesson, you need to notify us of your absence prior to the session in order to receive a credit for a make-up lesson (no show does not give you a credit).
Just give us a call on 5243 2819 or email email@example.com to notify your absence.
For private lessons, we request a 48-hour notice (the earlier the better) so your coach has time to organise another lesson during that timeslot. However we do understand last minute issues happen (occasionally) such as illness, injury so if so, contact us as early as possible so we can let your coach know of your unavailability.
Overall, please remember the cancellation of your private lesson will impact your coach’s schedule and revenues so we ask you to be respectful of their time by giving him/her as much notice as possible. Peak time (after 4pm on weeknights) is a particularly valuable time for coaches that we need to protect.
No shows for private or group lessons won’t be entitled to receive a credit for a makeup unless exceptional circumstances.
If no shows and cancellation happens regularly with your private lesson, we may decide to cancel your private lesson and give your time slot to someone else in order to protect the coach’s hours.
For Cardio Tennis, please notify your absence via the booking app, phone or email to cancel your booking (Cardio Tennis) so we can offer that spot to someone else.
In the event of inclement weather making the courts unplayable, a text will be sent prior to the lesson’s start to notify of the lesson’s cancellation. We normally send the text 45min prior to the lesson; weather depending. We constantly monitor the weather and aim to make a well thought decision ahead of time to avoid any unnecessary travel. Note our porous courts can sustain some wet conditions so lessons might be able to run under light drizzle. In general, if you do not receive a notice, please assume lessons are on. if you decide not to come due to the weather, please notify us of your absence so you can receive a credit for a make-up.
Should a group lesson be cancelled, you will be issued a makeup lesson credit. It is your responsibility to contact the club to claim the makeup in a suitable group on another day. If unable to schedule before the end of term, a credit will be issued at your request towards our holiday program. Makeups for private lessons due to inclement weather will also be arranged. Please liaise with your coach to schedule at a suitable time.
Please note, we are not offering refund for missed lesson. Instead all notified absences (group or privates) are automatically transferred into a credit for a make-up lesson.
For group lessons, we can book you into a make-up lesson in a similar class on another day (e.g. Hot shots Orange Ball beginner). Please organise all your make-up lessons by end of the term.
In the scenario, you were not able to organise all your make up lessons before end of term or if there is no suitable classes for your make-up lessons, we will give you a credit for our holiday program (if suitable)
For private lessons, please contact your coach to organise a make-up lesson at a convenient time. School holiday may also be a time where your coach can catch up on make-up lessons. If you don’t have your coach’s contact details, contact us instead.
Please note: Make-up lessons should be done prior the start of the following term. We do not transfer credit into the following term unless special circumstances when you were not able to catch-up such as: long term injuries/illness, your coach was not available to do your make up classes, you were away for the school holidays and not able to do your make-up. In those reasonable circumstances, your credit will be transferred to the following term in order to make sure your receive the services you paid for.
