Florent Lachaut

Senior Coach

Flo has over 10 years experience coaching in France, the USA and Australia. 

​

Trained at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. 

Competed in the NCAA Men's College Tennis Division 1 in the USA.

​

Flo loves to share his passion for the sport with lessons catered to all levels. His coaching focuses on skills and lessons that can be used on and off the court; whether you are looking to learn the sport or become a future champion. Flo prides himself in challenging and bringing the best out of his players.

Matt enjoys seeing students of all ages and abilities improve, No matter your age or ability, Matt will make sure you have a smile and a good run around.
As a player, Matt
- Represented Victoria throughout juniors ranging from the John Fitzgerald Cup in U13's to Pizzey Cup as a 16/17 year old. 

- Was picked in the Australian Merit Team in 2017 and 2018 in Pizzey Cup high schools competition. 

- Played for Geelong Lawn and won Grade 1 Melbourne Pennant

- Received Grade 1 Melbourne Pennant Player of the year

- Represented Geelong Lawn in their first years of Premier League

- Won multiple Grade A VTCA Country weeks with The Lecontes

Rhys McNabb
Tennis Coach

Rhys started playing Junior competitive tennis at the age of 10. He regularly competes in elite junior tournaments over the state and is one of the highest ranked juniors currently playing for Geelong Lawn Tennis Club. Rhys is a passionate young coach who brings energy on the court to inspire developing tennis players.

Always smiling and very approachable, Shia is keen to further build his experience and aims to be a fun and motivating coach!
 

Having gained experience helping during school holidays and group sessions throughout the school year, Shia is eager to teach young players tennis skills, building confidence and gross motor skills.

 

​Shia has been playing competitive tennis and plays in the Junior Pennant Seasonal Tournaments since he was 10.

Kevin started playing tennis at the age of 7, He right away fell in love with the sport.

After gradually building his skills, confidence and mentality, Kevin started playing junior competition by the age of 10. Kevin is now at the stage where he wants to share his experience to younger tennis players and help them develop their tennis skills.

Josh started playing tennis when he was around 7yo here at the Geelong Lawn tennis club and has been playing for the club since.

Now playing competitively, Josh enjoys travelling around Victoria playing tournaments and is looking forward to sharing his knowledge of the sport with younger kids to help them improve with their own tennis.

The latest talent to join our team, Elijah has been playing tennis since the age of 9 years old and always strives to be the best that he can be. He has grown passionate towards the sport.

 

Having played competitively for the Geelong Lawn Tennis Club since 2022, Elijah is now ready to pass on everything he have learnt to younger players.
