Nestled by the Barwon River in Belmont near the centre of Geelong, The Geelong Lawn Tennis Club is the one of the oldest and largest tennis club's in the state with approximately 800 members. Voted Victorian Tennis Club of the year in 2012 after hosting the Davis Cup, our multi-surface courts, grounds and facilities are beautifully maintained and managed year round by dedicated full time staff.
Everyone is welcome at the Geelong Lawn Tennis Club. We love helping new members and nurturing beginners to have a great time. We have a full range of membership options to suit adults, juniors and families looking to play tennis, squash or just to keep in shape in our gym.
Why not pay us a visit and see what makes the Geelong Lawn Tennis Club the complete tennis experience.
From October 1, 2017 we will be rolling out a host of new membership options. Existing members (pre October 1, 2017) have the opportunity to continue under their current membership agreement however all new memberships will be divided into five categories to better reflect the way that the facility is used by the community:
Within each of these categories (excluding Social Membership) there will be the following membership options:
Concession (available to all fulltime students, healthcare card holders and seniors)
Young Adult (for young adults aged 18 to 21 years old)
Junior (for children aged up to 17 years old)
Not only will the new offerings give you the opportunity to tailor your membership to how you use the facility, in many cases at a reduced cost, but they also include new member’s benefits such as free social tennis, free social squash and free group fitness classes depending on your membership type.
Another important change is that there will be no lock-in period on all direct debit memberships. This means you are able to cancel your membership at any time, with just 30 days notification (a cancellation form must be completed). This will allow for greater flexibility with your membership as many requested.
