Fitness Studio

Member Use

Playing members of the club (Adult, Intermediate & limited access for Juniors over 14 yrs) now have access to a fitness studio, which is located in the Corio Club room at the rear of the clubhouse. Access is through the bar, or via a separate entrance from Sommers Street. The room is accessible 7 days a week, from 6am – 8.30pm Monday – Friday. On weekends, the room is available from 9am – 6pm. The facility houses state of the art Nautilus equipment, with a cardio, free weight & strength area. In order to use the facility, members are required to complete a compulsory induction, where members are shown how to use the equipment correctly, and the proper protocols for using the room. O’Malley Fitness provides limited supervision of the area from Monday – Friday.

Group Classes

O’Malley Fitness conducts group fitness classes during the week. These range from Boxing for Fitness, Circuit Classes, Exercise for Older Adults & Ladies Stretching. Contact Mick O’Malley, or visit their web site www.omalleyfitness.com.au for more information.

Personal Training

O’Malley Fitness is owned by Mick O’Malley, who is currently a fitness trainer for Geelong Football Club and St.Josephs Football Club. He is a former Commonwealth Super Featherweight Boxing Champion, and lectures aspiring personal trainers in the Certificate IV in Personal Training.
