In cold and windy conditions, twenty five club members took on the challenges of the Beach Course at 13th Beach Golf Links to celebrate the launch of the GLTC - 13th Beach Reciprocal Discount Agreement between the two clubs. GLTC members played nine holes of golf in an "Ambrose" format, followed by a buffet lunch in the clubhouse.
The friendly competition was won by Chris Clarke, Matthew Holschier & Ken Barton, in a tight result from second place-getters John & Anne Thomas / Peter & Nikki Lester. It is hoped that the golf day will become a regular part of the club social calendar.
