And the winner is..... Geelong!

It wasn't quite like the announcement accompanying bids for the Olympics, but it felt like it to all connected with the clubs successful bid as host venue for the upcoming February 10 - 12th Davis Cup Zonal tie between Australia & Peoples Republic of China. Tennis Australia recently announced that the club will host the prestigious event for the first time in the clubs 130 year history.

For many years GLTC club members have known that their club was one of Victoria's best. Well, now it's official!

Regional Partnership Launch

The club is delighted to announce the recent signing of a Regional Partnership with Tennis Australia, in association with Tennis Victoria. Over fifty invited guests were present at a club lunch to hear Tennis Australia board member John Fitzgerald officially announce the Regional Partnership. As part of this agreement, the club will be working proactively with Tennis Australia, Tennis Victoria, and other regional stakeholders to develop and grow tennis in the region.
